Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the WeSurf Chrome extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the extension.
2. Description of Service
WeSurf provides a synchronized web browsing and video playback tool with integrated chat functionality. Because the internet is constantly changing, we cannot guarantee that the extension will work perfectly on every single website at all times.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to use WeSurf to:
- Transmit any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or abusive chat messages.
- Attempt to hack, destabilize, or reverse-engineer the extension or our WebSocket servers.
- Bypass digital rights management (DRM) or copyright protections of third-party websites. (WeSurf only syncs the player controls; users must have their own access/subscriptions to premium content like Netflix).
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
5. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
WeSurf and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms of Service, at our sole discretion.
